About the job

The Technical Sales Manager, shall be an expert in Agro-minerals & Fertilizers. He/she is a critical point of contact for clients and manufacturers, and deep business know-how is a must to drive the business segment in answering queries, providing deep and comprehensive technical advice, demonstrating new products and application methods, and collaborating with clients' sales teams and technical engineers on R&D and conducting full training on the product and selling techniques. Furthermore, the technical sales manager must use his extensive industry knowledge of a technical product’s features and operations to develop, penetrate, and sell for local and regional exposure and provide support for the product segment.

Main Duties include:
• Identifying and establishing new business clients’ base.
• Memorizing technical product specifications and keeping up to date with new company products as well as industry trends.
• Conducting market research and obtaining feedback from clients to improve the existing product line and portfolio.
• Giving demonstrations, training, and presentations to help clients understand product specifications and characterization.
• Price comparisons and market monitoring.
• Monitor the sales and shipping processes and procedures for the products to ensure that the sales processes are implemented as required for the products.
• Follow up on the requirements and the technical notes received from the customers according to the feedback procedures and engage with the factory and the R&D and work on resolving them in an appropriate manner.
• Managing a sales team under his/her supervision.
• Follow up on payment collection with the relevant parties in the company.
• Follow up on trial orders & field experiments with clients.

Requirements:
• BSc in Agricultural engineering or any other relevant field
• 10 - 15 Years of Experience in direct sales (B2B) in the fertilizers & agribusiness
• A minimum of 3 years in a managerial level
• Regional exposure in the GCC is mandatory
