Junior Full-stack Developer

Leaders of Tomorrow is looking to hire a gifted developer with 1-3 years of experience. The employee will be responsible for managing back-end and front-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. His/her primary focus will be on the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and developing the front end of the website.

Responsibilities:

Own your work from technical design, development, testing, deploying, maintaining and documenting
Collaborate with the Product team and other members of the Engineering team to solve business & technical challenges in simple, sustainable ways
Scope and estimate technical builds.

Recommended Qualifications

1-3 years professional, full-time experience in a full-stack developer role
Solid experience with PHP, Javascript
Exceptional work ethic, critical thinking skills & attention to detail
Ability to work both collaboratively, and autonomously, within a distributed Engineering team.
Strong coding skills with an emphasis on Object-Oriented Programming.
Bonus if you have familiarity with any of the following:
React/Redux, Yii, Laravel, Rest API, GraphQl, Nginx, MySQL, NoSql, Docker, Css, SASS.
Authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, etc.
Bachelor’s Degrees in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Web Development.
AWS, distributed systems & networking
Ability to work in a very dynamic and self-organizing team.
Familiar with version control (ex. git, svn).
Strong knowledge of design patterns.
