Senior Internal Auditor - Financial Auditor

Location-Amman ,  ,Jordan (JO)

Job Responsibilities  


  • Perform Individual internal audit projects/engagements as part of Internal Audit plan:
  • Develop Audit Scope.
  • Perform Audit procedures & testing.
  • Prepare internal audit reports reflecting the audit performed.
  • Participate in developing (annual plan) for financial related risks assessment and exposure.
  • Analyze group level financial information as part of continuous financial audit review.
  • Develop new financial audit techniques to leverage the efficiency or effectiveness.
  • Participate in risk assessments and development for the internal audit plan.
  • Participate in the development of the Strategic financial Audit Plan and Annual Audit Plan.
  • Prepare preliminary testing strategies to achieve the objectives of audit assignments.
  • Prepare internal audit programs including sampling techniques to be used.
  • Ensure that sufficient testing is done for internal controls identified in the planning phase.
  • Supervise the execution of the internal audit plan and ensure that sufficient documentation is completed and filed.
  • Prepare the draft internal audit report.
  • Prepare the final report to be issued to the respective process owner(s).

 


Job Requirements

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • A professional certification in Accounting or Auditing such as CA, CIA, CPA, CMA is a plus.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in auditing field is required.
  • Good leadership skills including people management, selection and development skills.
  • Very good command of written and spoken English.
  • Very good analytical, planning, forecasting and execution skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (Listening/writing/interpersonal/speaking).
  • IFRS Knowledge.
  • Business/Financial analysis knowledge.
  • SAP knowledge.
  • Financial Performance Management and financial reporting.
  • CAATs experience.
  • Risk Management & ERM framework.
  • Coso – Internal Controls.
