Safety and Quality Standards Admin

The chosen candidate shall report to the Head of department and liaise with other department managers to oversee the following :

  • Act as the focal point for managing, coordinating and maintaining the administrative and operations standards and procedures of the Safety and Quality department and provide proper interface with other departments and maintenance of administrative functions all times;
  • Liaise with the Quality Manager, Safety Manger and Auditing Manager for coordination of allocated and available resources to support all safety and quality functions are allocated with appropriate and available resources;
  • Liaise with other Joramco Management to oversee the proper functionality of the safety and quality processes and procedures and discharging the assigned duties and responsibilities and ownership;
  • Administer a rosters of Safety and Quality functions and activities with fair distribution of workload showing allocated resources.
  • Manager and control Joramco Quality Manuals and other safety and quality instructions and notices as required, including drafting, reviewing, approval, amendments, distribution, maintenance, retention and disposition of the same.
  • Coordinate and plan all mandatory and Company required training and competency evaluations and ensure that the same is carried out at appropriate times and maintain records of the training and qualifications of the Safety and Quality staff;
  • Coordinate all aspects of manpower planning, rostering, training and certification in order to ensure a timely and efficient planning of all resources considering required legal aspects.
  • Follow up with operational mangers for competency assessments of authorized staff and all other staff involved in part 145 activities as per MOE 3.14 procedure have been performed.
  • Follow up on continuation training, medical certificates, CARC licenses, competency assessments and suspension notification e-mails have been performed and allocated from concerned other departments.
  • On monthly basis and/or as deemed necessary visit/ subscribe to regulatory authorities websites allocate any changes in regulations and requirements including (Proposed Rule Making, Regulations, amendment notes, Notice of Proposed Amendments, Safety Information Bulletin..., others) that could affect Joramco scope of work and assign compliance assessment to Department staff.
  • Publish and control the issuance, amendment, maintenance and retention of the Regulation change monthly report as applicable.
  • Initiate and follow on Authority Approval application, Renewal and follow-up including relevant RSM, QCM, MOE, supplements, Training Manual, Cap. List, as applicable and other required documents and communications. 
  • Oversee development of all data analysis process, methodology, and logical framework for setting up a customized data analysis process, procedures, dashboards , etc. for the Safety and Quality department;
  • Oversee Data management, analyses, visualization and customizing dashboards for safety and quality operation and sharing frequent reports, analyses and information for other mangers and departments. 
  • Responsible for all data analyses interpret results in support of improving the organization’s decision-making process.
  • Receiving the management team’s buy-in, by sharing with them the utility of implementing a customized data analysis methodology in daily business activities.
  • Act as safety and quality department focal point for any interface and data streaming and exchange with other departments and other company system administrators (MenaMe, FleetCycle, etc.)

 Requirements

  • Engineering Degree (Preferable Aeronautical or Industrial engineering).
  • 5 Years or more of Aviation experience.
  • 3 years or more of safety and quality experience.
  • QMS and /or QMS auditing techniques
  • SMS qualification and training.
  • Mastery Knowledge of MS Office applications
  • English Language Proficiency
